Marketing templates are reusable email designs for campaigns and automations. Build the template once, publish it, and then choose it from campaign content steps whenever you need the same message style again.

Before you start: sign in with an account that can manage marketing templates. Templates are email-only; campaign wizards collect any in-app notification title and body separately.

  1. 1

    Open Templates

In the left navigation, open Marketing and select Templates. The page shows the Recent Used rail, category sections, and category filter tabs for All, Job Completed, Promotional Code, Time Since Last Service, Review Request, Customer Appreciation, and Suggested Refresh.

  2. 2

    Start a new template

Select New Template. The editor opens on New Template with the Email Setup form on the left and a live Email preview on the right.

A new email template starts with name, category, image, content, featured, and footer controls.

  3. 3

    Name and categorize the template

Enter a clear Name, then choose the Category that matches the campaign use case. The available categories are Uncategorized, Job Completed, Promotional Code, Time Since Last Service, Review Request, Customer Appreciation, and Suggested Refresh.

  4. Logo, image, and color options

Use Logo & Image to set the template background color and control the Logotype and Image blocks. Each upload area accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WebP files and sends the file through CleanOps’ direct image upload path before the URL is stored on the template. You can also paste a hosted image URL into the image fields.

  5. 4

    Write the email content

In Content, edit the Header & Color and Body Text & Color fields. Add merge tags directly in the body, for example {{first_name}} and {{company_name}}, by selecting First Name and Company Name under Insert variable. The live preview resolves those tags with sample customer data so you can confirm the email reads naturally.

The body uses `{{first_name}}` and `{{company_name}}`; the preview resolves them to Jane and Acme Cleaning Co.

  6. More email blocks

The editor also includes optional Button Text & Color, Featured Block, Info Card, Promo Code, Rating Row, Social Media, Footer Body Text & Color, and Unsubscribe Link & Color blocks. Turn a block on when that template type needs it, then fill in its labels, URLs, colors, or rows. Content Alignment can be Left or Center.

Featured and footer blocks sit below the main content fields.

  7. 5

Save the template as a draft

Select Save Edits. CleanOps saves the template, opens its edit page, shows Template saved., and marks it Draft. A draft can keep changing without appearing as a published campaign template.

  8. 6

    Publish the template

Open Actions and select Publish. CleanOps shows Template published. and changes the status to Published. Once published, the Actions menu changes to Unpublish and Archive.

  9. Find templates by category

Back on the Templates page, use the category tabs to narrow the library. For example, selecting Review Request limits the category section to review-request templates and also narrows the Recent Used rail for that category.

The Review Request filter shows the published demo template in the rail and category section.

  10. Lifecycle notes

A published template can be returned to draft with Actions → Unpublish when it needs more editing. Actions → Archive hides a template from active library lists when you no longer want campaign builders to use it. The current template editor does not create in-app content; add the in-app title and body from the campaign wizard when you choose the In-app channel.

  11. Your template is ready

Your published marketing template is now available from campaign content steps. Campaigns can reuse its email design while still allowing message-specific edits before sending or activating.
