Set up the Review Redirect

Send customers to your own Google, Yelp, or Facebook review page after they pay or when a job is completed.

The Review Redirect sends your customers to your own review page — on Google, Yelp, Facebook, or anywhere else — instead of an internal CleanOps page. You set one review link, choose when to ask, and CleanOps does the rest: it points the Leave a Review link in your job-complete email at your page and can show a “leave us a review” prompt right after a customer pays.

Before you start: sign in with an account that can manage settings (an operator/employer account). Have your review page link ready — for Google it usually looks like https://g.page/r/....

  1. 1

    Open Brand & Docs settings

Select Settings in the left navigation, then open the Brand & Docs tab. Your logo, brand colors, document text, tip settings, and the Review Redirect all live here.

  2. 2

    Find the Review Redirect card

Scroll to the Review Redirect card. Its description reads Send customers to your own review page (Google, Yelp, Facebook) after they pay or when a job is completed.

  3. 3

Turn on the redirect and add your review page

Tick Enable review redirect, then enter your Review page URL — the link customers should land on, for example https://g.page/r/your-review-link — and a Platform name such as Google so you remember where it points.

  4. 4

Choose when to ask, then save

Under When to ask for a review, pick Job complete, After payment, or Both, then select Save. A green Review redirect settings saved message confirms it.

  5. When to ask for a review

Your choice under When to ask for a review controls where the review ask appears:

    • Job complete — the Leave a Review button in your job-complete follow-up email points to your review page.
    • After payment — customers see a review prompt right after they pay an invoice online.
    • Both — customers are asked after a job is completed and after they pay.
  6. What your customer sees after they pay

With After payment or Both selected, once a customer pays their invoice online they see a Payment Successful! page and an Enjoyed our service? prompt. It counts down and offers Leave a review now — or No thanks to skip — before taking them to your review page.

  7. The review request email

With Job complete or Both selected, the Leave a Review button in your job-complete review email is automatically pointed at your review page — no need to paste a link anywhere. You can see that email under Settings › Automations › Job complete - request review.

  8. Where the per-rule review link moved

If you set a review link on the automation before, its old per-rule Custom Review Link field is gone. Open Settings › Automations › Job complete - request review and you’ll see a note: Review link is now managed in Brand & Docs. Your one Review Redirect setting now applies to every review follow-up automatically.

  9. Use a valid web address

The Review page URL must start with http:// or https://. If you enter anything else, you’ll see Please match the requested format. Enter a URL starting with http:// or https:// and the card won’t save until you fix it.

An invalid web address is blocked with a prompt to fix it.

  10. Turning the redirect off

Clear the Enable review redirect checkbox and select Save to switch it off. The review page link is cleared, so neither the email link nor the post-payment prompt sends customers to your review page until you turn it back on. Your Platform name stays saved.

  11. Your review redirect is live

Customers are now sent to your own Google, Yelp, or Facebook review page — after they pay, when a job is completed, or both — and every review ask uses the same link.

  12. Tips & related

    • The prompt reaches every customer who pays or has a job completed — there’s no way to ask only your happiest customers, which keeps you compliant with Google’s review policy. Don’t offer incentives for leaving a review.
    • Grab your Google review link from your Google Business Profile under Ask for reviews; it usually looks like https://g.page/r/....
    • Related: create and send an invoice, build an automation campaign.
