Send a one-time campaign

Build and send a single email and/or in-app message to a chosen audience with the campaign wizard.

campaigns marketing email in-app one-time send

A one-time campaign sends a single message — an email, an in-app notification, or both — to the audience you choose. The mobile app uses the same six-step campaign builder as the web app: choose the campaign type, audience, schedule, channels, content, and final review.

Before you start: sign in with an employer/operator account that can manage marketing. A saved segment is the fastest audience option, but you can also build a custom audience from contact rules inside the wizard.

  1. 1

    Open One Time Campaigns

From More, open Marketing, then tap One Time Campaigns. The list shows status tabs (All, Draft, Scheduled, Sent), campaign cards, search, filters, and your monthly email and in-app usage.

  7. 7

    Pick delivery channels

On Select Channel, select Email, In-app, or both. Email sends a template-based message and counts against your monthly email allowance. In-app sends a portal notification and only reaches customers with portal access.

  13. Find the sent campaign

After publishing, return to One Time Campaigns. Drafts, scheduled sends, and sent campaigns appear in their matching tabs. A campaign with some skipped deliveries can show Partial sent under All while its detail screen shows exactly what happened.

  16. Save or discard a draft

Use Save as Draft in the wizard header when you are not ready to publish. To abandon a campaign setup, use the discard icon in the header and confirm. Draft campaigns stay on the Draft tab so you can finish them later.
