You need a customer, a start date and time, and permission to create or update jobs. A new rule records the timezone of the device that builds it, and later edits keep that zone, so the local job time stays consistent across daylight-saving changes. Job update permission covers editing and cancelling one occurrence. Cancel Series additionally needs the separate job cancel permission, and Delete Series needs job delete permission. Mobile enforces permissions two ways, so expect both: the floating create button, the header quick-add, and the action menu’s Edit Job, Change Status, Archive Job, and Delete Series are hidden without their permission, while the Edit button on a job opened from the Schedule calendar always appears and refuses on save with Failed to save job. Either way, a refused action changes nothing.
