customers contacts addresses getting started

Customers are the people and businesses you work for. Add a customer once and you can build quotes, schedule jobs, and send invoices for them without re-entering their details.

Before you start: sign in with an account that can manage customers (an operator/employer account).

  1. 1

    Open the New Customer form

Select Customers in the left navigation to open your customer list, then select New Customer in the top right. The Add New Customer form opens. If you’ve just signed up, this list is empty — that same New Customer button is your starting point.

Under Personal Info, enter the Customer Name and Email. For the phone, pick the country code from the selector — 🇺🇸 +1, 🇨🇦 +1, or 🇬🇧 +44 — and type the number. Only the name is required; email and phone are optional but recommended.

    Check the address

Confirm the Street Address, City, State / Province / Region, and Postal / ZIP Code are correct. Prefer to enter it yourself? Fill in each field manually instead of using a suggestion — type the Street Address, City, and Postal / ZIP Code, and choose the State / Province / Region from the dropdown.
