Connect CleanOps to Zapier

Connect your CleanOps account to Zapier so events in CleanOps can automate thousands of other apps.

zapier integrations automation webhooks getting started

Zapier connects CleanOps to thousands of other apps — Slack, Google Sheets, your calendar, and more — so an event in CleanOps (a new customer, a paid invoice, a scheduled job) can automatically trigger an action somewhere else. You set this up once by connecting your CleanOps account to Zapier.

Before you start: you need a Zapier account (a free plan is fine to start) and a CleanOps operator/employer login. The Zap acts on the CleanOps account you sign in with, so use the account whose data you want to automate.

  1. 1

    Find CleanOps in Zapier

In Zapier, search the app directory for CleanOps and open CleanOps Integrations (listed under CRM, currently marked Beta). Select Connect CleanOps to 9,000+ apps to start — this opens Zapier’s Zap editor with CleanOps already chosen.

  2. 2

Start a Zap and pick a CleanOps trigger

In the Zap editor, CleanOps is set as the trigger App. Open the Trigger event dropdown and choose the event that should start your automation — for example New Customer. Then, under Account, select Sign in to CleanOps.

    Confirm the connection

A Connect to Zapier window opens showing CleanOps. Select Connect to continue to CleanOps and grant access.

    Sign in and allow access

CleanOps opens the Connect Zapier screen. If you aren’t already signed in to CleanOps, you’ll be asked to log in first. Review the Requested permissions — grouped by area such as Customers, Jobs, Invoices, Quotes, and Webhooks — then select Allow to connect. Selecting Deny cancels without connecting.

  5. Which CleanOps account the Zap uses

Zapier connects to the exact CleanOps account you sign in with, and labels the connection with that account’s email. Your Zaps can then see and change the data in that account — so if you run more than one CleanOps account, sign in with the one you want to automate.

  6. What Zapier can do with CleanOps

Once connected, you can use CleanOps in three ways inside a Zap:

    • Triggers (start a Zap when something happens): New Job, Completed Job, Cancelled Job, Job Assigned, Job Rescheduled, New Customer, Updated Customer, New Invoice, Invoice Paid, Invoice Sent, New Quote, Quote Accepted, Quote Declined, Quote Sent, New Maintenance Plan, Plan Occurrence Generated, New Service Request, Service Request Converted to Job, Service Request Converted to Quote, and Media Uploaded.
    • Actions (create something in CleanOps): Create Customer, Create Job, Create Quote, Create Invoice, and Create Service Request.
    • Searches (find an existing record): Find Customer, and Find Job, Invoice, Quote, or Service Request by ID.
  7. Manage or remove the connection

Your connected account appears under App connections in Zapier, labeled with your email and showing a green Connected status. The menu on the row lets you Rename it, Test connection, Replace connection (reconnect if it ever expires), or Delete it to revoke Zapier’s access.

  8. CleanOps is connected to Zapier

Back in the Zap, the Account field shows your CleanOps email and Continue is enabled. Your account is connected — you can finish this Zap or build new ones, and the same connection is shared across all of them.
